Visit to Dr. Danivas

My friend Hannah Normand went with me to Asher's "post-double pneumonia" visit to the pediatrician. (We LOVE Dr. Danivas. He visited Asher every day he was in the NICU even though the NICU doctor was officially Asher's doctor at that point.) When we got to the receptionist's window, she promptly opened it to let me hand him over. He made the rounds "behind the scenes" from nurse to nurse and finally joined me and Hannah in the room to be weighed, etc. He weighs 20.1 lbs and is 28.5 inches long, for those of you who are tracking his growth. (Since that's the first time I have reported his results, you should now have one point on your Asher Growth Tracking Chart. You might want to keep your AGTChart next to your hurricane tracking chart.)

Dr. Danivas gave Asher two thumbs up for this appointment. As you can see, Asher was very pleased!

Asher also got his first flu shot even though they aren't "officially" giving flu shots yet. He will go back in a month and get a second shot. As soon as the shots are available to the general public (i.e. the rest of us peons), we will all go get ours.
