funny or not funny?

Jeff and I were watching "That 70's Show" (I know. Heathens.). Red and Kitty had an exchange, and I laughed out loud. Jeff could NOT understand why I thought it was funny. I don't remember what they were talking about, but here's the part I thought was so funny:

Kitty: Well, turn the porch light on. I am sure the angry mob will be here with torches and pitchforks.

Red: They won't need the light.

Kitty: Why?

Red: Because they have torches. HAHAHAHAHA!

I love Red Foreman. He kills me.
