Glee

Until tonight I had never watched an episode of the new FOX tv show "Glee." Why, you ask? Well, I have had a negative opinion about it ever since someone mentioned on a blog that the show had used the word "retarded" to refer to a person who had a developmental disability of some sort. I had more than a negative opinion. I was p.o.'d. So, today on my facebook page I saw a post by a mom of a child with DS, and she was referring to a blog by yet another parent of a child with DS. Much to my surprise, he was recommending that everyone watch the latest episode. Trusting that a fellow parent of a child with DS would not steer me wrong, I did. I like what he wrote about the show, and he posted a link to the video as well, so go to his page (http://disposablebrain.com) and read "Thanks, Ryan Murphy." And watch the show.
