As promised...

Here is a recreation of the moment Asher first sat up by himself! I have to give Belle credit for the discovery.



This is Day 2 of sitting up. He looks much happier about it, doesn't he?



This was such a monumental occasion that we decided to build an actual monument to commemorate the event. We built it out of clothes. Here is Asher admiring our handiwork. I am laughing because there is another huge load of clothes in the dryer and two more to be washed. Hysterical, isn't it?! (Look at his blonde curls!)

Our strong boy scores a prefect "10" for this effort. (He gets extra points for degree of difficulty due to the hazardous nature of the clothes mountain next to him.)

I just told Asher he had to fold all of those clothes. (Funny - this is the response I get from ALL of my children.)

His crib is much more fun and interesting from a vertical perspective!

Meanwhile, Hannah and Belle in a rare moment of congeniality.

Almost bedtime. This sitting up stuff can wear you out.

Hannah decided that instead of folding the clothes, Asher could just rest in them. Of course, if he is IN them looking cute, she doesn't have to fold them either...

Asher wants to support Hannah Normand in her new business venture.

Hey, even a guy's guy can appreciate a nice body wash.

Ziva update: She is fitting right in. Gumbo does look a little perturbed, though.

At least she's not a St. Bernard...
