Birthday Party!!

We went to Sadie and Rylie Sharbono's first birthday party today. It was incredible - tons of food, tulle everywhere, little individual cakes... every little girl's dream party! I told Jen and Nathan that I am so glad Asher is too young to notice and/or remember. Otherwise, when his birthday rolled around, he'd be saying, "Holy crap. My birthday sucks."

I did contribute to the party entertainment, though: I demonstrated my tissue paper folding expertise (and my obsessive-compulsive tendencies) for everyone during the gift opening. Some of you are not surprised at all, are you? You are the same people who stick name tags to the tissue in my gifts just so I CAN'T save it. You know who you are, and the earth hates you and your giant carbon footprints!

We'll be going to my friend Lydia's daughter's birthday party in a couple of weeks, which will be another fantastic shindig complete with ponies. What am I doing on here, blogging away when I should be planning SOMETHING?! I need to go now so I can feel bad about Asher's party for months instead of just weeks. Then there's the lifetime of guilt afterwards...
