blah...

I have the vacation/reunion/haircut pictures on my computer, but I don't feel like posting them right now. I know that sounds strange coming from me, but I really have felt sort of blah lately. The creative juices are not flowing. I don't know what's wrong with me. I usually get SO much inspiration from folding clothes, washing dishes, and driving for hours.

Also, I selfishly like to spend a big block of time creating my posts. I know it doesn't seem like they require much effort, but isn't that really the true sign of a creative genius: making the brilliant look effortless? Just kidding, folks. I really haven't had any time to devote to my narcissism. (Side note: I just looked up "narcissism" on dictionary.com to make sure it means what I want it to mean. Well, not always. FYI: I am going with the "self-centeredness"-type definitions, not those OTHER definitions. I just wanted to be clear.)

I feel the need to include at least one photo of Asher so the followers that I imagine to be reading this on a regular basis won't feel neglected and stop following. (Notice I used the word "imagine". I sometimes think I am the only one following me. How's THAT for narcissism?)

Now aren't you glad you checked in? I have more where that came from...

By the way, Asher was promoted up to the next infant room at daycare. He is simply way too advanced for those other babies! :) His new room is more active and cheerful. They play fun music, and there are babies crawling and pulling up all around him. He will be mobile before we know it. Well, he is already mobile: he rolls everywhere!
