Baby Food

Where has all of the baby food spinach gone? I can find garden vegetables and even spinach and potatoes, but no plain ol' spinach. Before you overachievers out there suggest that I buy frozen spinach and make my own, let me just say that I have not yet exhausted all possibilities of finding it in a jar. And to you crazies who might suggest that I buy (or GROW!) fresh spinach and proceed from there, I say HAHAHA!! I even cheat occasionally and use the cereal and fruit already in the jar even though I have the baby cereal in the box. Yes, yes, I know that the cereal in the box is much less expensive than the convenient cereal-in-a-jar. Then again, I did buy the "Good Morning" boxed cereal that "supports attentiveness and learning" and the "Good Evening" boxed cereal that "supports healthy growth during the night". (What?!) To solve the dilemma of what to feed him if it's neither morning nor evening, I bought "DHA Plus", which "supports brain and eye development and digestive health". This really should be the topic of another post concerning my unhealthy weakness for great packaging.

You know, maybe I should have titled this entry "And the laziest mom in the world is..." In fact, as the laziest mom-blogger, I have no picture to post. Maybe I should stop typing and go do something productive related to motherhood before someone comes and takes my children away.

I bet you can buy spinach baby food online somewhere. Just in case you decide to join the overachiever group I will grow it chemical free in my backyard for you. But then of course you wouldn't have friends like me.
