Updates galore!

First of all, I would like to report that Belle is on the mend. Jeff washed her hair when we got home from the hospital last night, and except for a little Neosporin still hanging around, you can't even tell anything happened. She asked me to pull her hair back for school today, which surprised me because I figured she'd want easy access to her wound for show-and-tell purposes. Not "official" show-and-tell, mind you. We're talking back alley, way-more-interesting RECESS show-and-tell.

Secondly, I am packing to go on my annual "Trek with the Parents". Asher and I will go to Alabama, and then my parents, Tylitha, and I will continue on to Gatlinburg while Asher has a relaxing visit with Ma and Da (Jeff's parents). I am trying (unsuccessfully) to edit as I pack. Not for me - I have one pair of jeans and about three t-shirts that I wear. Asher, on the other hand, is a clothes horse already. I don't know how that happened! Oh wait! Yes, I do! It's the Carters people! What do you expect me to do when they make REALLY cute little play outfits and sell them for $5.88??? As a side note, the last three outfits I bought (yes, THREE) were size 18 MONTHS!! (Reminder - Asher is not even 8 months old yet. I think the Carters Company must be owned by the Oompa Loompas, not regular-sized folks.)

Thirdly, Pippi is STILL missing or STOLEN (my current theory). I hope she comes home. I hope other things for the people holding her hostage. Hey, even if she is enjoying herself, she can still be a hostage. I haven't received any ransom demands or crazy notes made from letters cut out of the newspaper... yet. If I do, I'll post a picture of it!! :)

Alrighty! Speaking of pictures, I may actually purchase a camera for myself for the Gatlinburg trip. Don't get all crazy and run screaming with joy into the street just yet. I said I MAY get one. We'll see...
