High Point 1: Going to the Smith Family Dinner Theater. We didn't partake of the dinner buffet. Others sitting near us did...
High Point 2: PARTICIPATING in the theater portion of the Smith Family Dinner Theater. I was chosen from among the 200 or so audience members to hula hoop on stage. My teammate was a 70 year old woman. She was mean. That's her behind me flirting with the guitar guy while I am cursing at shiny vest guy under my breath.
High Point 3: Eating out. Food is BIG in Gatlinburg. Literally. Dad was really proud of his chicken pot pie.
High Point 4: Feeding the ducks. Feeding the mean geese? Not so much. (Yes, I did change clothes. A lot of my high points happened to occur on the same day.)
High Point 5: Watching the people watch the bears. That's my dad in the striped shirt and maroon cap, and that's one of Tylitha's Harley people next to him. (I want to get a hobby that comes with its own people group.)
We also saw turkeys...
...and deer
... and snakes up close. See if you can find Tylitha in this picture. Yeah, right! HAHAHAHAHA!
High Point 6: Looking at the pretty scenery. People hike here. We didn't.
High Point 7: Looking at the old buildings in Cades Cove and along Roaring Fork Drive.
See if you can find Dad.
High Point 8: Shopping at the outlets. I don't have a picture of us shopping, but I do have a picture of Dad WHILE we were shopping.
High Point 9: Learning about the Smoky Mountains via the touristy town of Pigeon Forge. For example, have you ever seen the elusive Smoky Mountain Killer Whale?
High Point 10: Explaining to my mother-in-law that I am NOT actually embedded in this rock.
There you have it. Ten high points. What restraint I have. I amaze me again. (Yes, I should say that I amaze MYSELF but I don't want to. And I just ended that sentence with a preposition and started this one with a conjunction. It's all about control, people, and I am in it.)
