I am on a conference call right now. Just call me Ms. Multitasker. Don't worry, I have the phone on speaker and MUTE. When I bought my desk phone, those were the two features I HAD to have. Speaker and mute. Especially mute. I mean, what if I have to potty or something? ;)
After the call, I have to speak with our IT guy because my computer is rebelling again. We have to log all of our sales calls into a program called Siebel ePharma. Well, my ePharma "failed to initialize" and won't open. At all. And you know the saying - If it's not written down, it didn't happen. (Conversely, just because it is written down doesn't mean it REALLY happened...) When I called Andre', the way-hip IT guy, earlier this morning he said, "So do you usually log out of ePharma, or do you close it with the red X?" I said (very quietly and ashamedly), "The red X..." "Yeah, that could be the problem..." I could have lied, but you know they can find out EVERYTHING once they are "in there". (One day, I'll tell you my story about Sea World and how they take your fingerprint at the gate. Does that not bother anyone else?) Anyway, I figured my chances were better if I threw myself on his mercy right away. While I was on the phone with Andre', my coworker Rick called my cell phone. I said, "Hey Rick. When you get out of ePharma, do you log out or do you use the red X?" He said, "I just use click the red X." I said, "OOH! DON"T DO THAT! IT COULD BE A PROBLEM!" purely for the benefit of Andre', who was on my other ear. I just wanted him to know that I am not the only "red Xer" out there.
Asher was in a good mood this morning until he had to take his antibiotic. Bactrim. SUPPOSEDLY grape flavored. Yeah, BITTER fermented evil grapes. Grapes from hell. Hell grapes. He IS really cute when his nostrils flare; however, the gagging and spitting sort of ruins the effect. He is taking this antibiotic prophylactically. (Stop giggling. That does not mean what you think it means.) I am not a fan of taking antibiotics "just in case". So why is he on the stuff? Refer to my post on ears, etc. You'll understand.
Have a great Monday.
