Mommy's night out

I went to play Bunko last night. Well, we don't really PLAY Bunko. My friend, Linda, did purchase the game, and she does bring it with her each time we get together, so technically we can call it "Bunko Night". Last night the "Cinco de Mayo Bunko Extravaganza" was at her house, so again - technically - the game WAS there, but I'm not sure if she actually got the game out. There was a brief discussion about how Bunko really is fun to play, but Lydia and I poo-poo'd the notion of ruining a good thing by imposing such confining "requirements" on Bunko night. I mean, having to break out the game could cut into the whole eat/drink/visit/gossip/laugh thing we have going. Sorry, there are no cameras allowed at Bunko, so no I have no pictures to post.


I do have a follow-up picture for the whole "feeding Asher" topic. Here, Hannah is demonstrating that in our house, we consider cherry popsicles to be part of the fruit group.



She really does love him - and the photo-taking capabilities of her cell phone.



Speaking of Hannah... Her 8th grade class recently went on a field trip to Houston (Astros game and NASA), and she came back with some really cute pictures. She is the nut in the pink shirt. I have to hand it to her, though. She convinced all those guys to do the "High School Musical jump" for the picture. Maybe next time she'll have them all do the Miley Cyrus "Hoedown Throwdown".





In the interest of fair balance, I should include a picture of Belle. This is one of my all-time favorites. Of course, Hannah took it.



Here's Belle with her "Bubba". She likes to tell people she's really Asher's mom and I'm just the woman who gave birth to him. He has no chance to avoid being spoiled rotten!



Well, faithful followers, I don't need to get fired, so I will get to work now. By the way, are these pictures the right size? Too small? (I find it SO amusing that according to Blogspot, you are now my followers! I mean, I knew you were my FANS, but "followers"... Wow!)
