The party's over.

Well, Belle's #2 birthday party is over. (By #2, I mean that she had a party at school and a party at Kees Park, not that we had some sort of "bathroom" theme.) That makes 4 birthday parties I have planned and executed flawlessly (ha!) in 4 short weeks. Their birthdays actually fall within 3 weeks of each other, but Asher's party was the weekend before his birthday and Belle's was the weekend after hers. Hannah had her party on her birthday weekend. You know, that's just more proof that God has a great sense of humor: My children are 14 years apart, but I have to throw three birthday parties within three weeks of each other for the rest of my life. HAHAHAHA, God! Good one! :)


The Kees Park party was a success with one minor exception. In their efforts to help me clean up, the kids wadded up the present tissue and handed it to me in a big ball. It was ALL I could do not to sit down and smooth the wrinkles of every last piece! For those of you who don't know this about me, I don't EVER throw away present tissue unless it is ripped to the point that you can't hide the rip. Yes, folks, I am "green" after all. It's all part of my concerted efforts to save the polar bears.

After pizza and cake we all went to the haunted house and forked a yard. Good wholesome fun!

These last two pictures are purely for your enjoyment. Belle and I spotted this car after eating at Los Portales for her birthday lunch. It was so impressive that I had to loop back around and get a couple of pictures of it.
